God’s Gift to you

When God created sunshine
He created it for you,
And for all those in this world
Who reminded him of you,

When God created the seven-colored rainbow,
He created it
so that you will always remember,
The number of days that it took
to create this world for you.

When God created the clear blue sky,
He created it so that you would remember
That as you gaze your eyes
Up towards the sky,
That he is not that far away
Watching over you,

But God did not create the wars and famines
Or the suffering in this world,
For everything he created was filled with love and blessings
Which were his gifts to you.

Can anyone describe the current state of the world (especially the violence, inequality, natural disasters and the plight of living things other than humans – all within our concept of God? As a Christian by faith, I am most familiar with the biblical and traditional Christian concept of the “Creator God” (to me, they are not the same thing) which is slightly different from the concept of God and deity in Hinduism for example. Then I ask myself whether “explaining the genesis, the metamorphosis or the present state of the world/universe” reasonably well is necessary for a religion to validate itself to its followers as “true”. Is “truth” one dimensional” or “multi dimensional” or is “truth” itself an illusion?
I think I should stop now…
